Mary Black is a name well known among Irish music aficionados, and she has quite a fan base in the U.S. as well. As the fastest-selling female artist in Ireland (honored by the Irish music industry in 1994 as the Best Irish Female Vocalist), her intense performing style encompasses blues, jazz, country, soul and folk, all within a framework rooted deep in the lyrical tradition of her homeland. Her new album represents the final collaboration with longtime producer/guitarist Declan Sinott.
