For a while it seemed like Liars would be walking hand-in-hand with Yeah Yeah Yeahs out of Williamsburg's precious hipster cocoon into national stardom. Then They Were Wrong, So We Drowned tanked. Big time. Drum stands to fare better, despite mining similar soundscapes.
